Overview:

We’re looking for a Project Coordinator to join Palmer’s Project Management team.

Palmer was founded in 2010 to provide project direction and technical scientific services to support the environmental assessment and permitting process associated with mining, energy, municipal infrastructure, and land development projects. What You’re Responsible For:

  • Under the supervision of a Project Manager, you will perform project management tasks such as proposal initiation, scope development, cost estimates, contract initiation, project setup, field coordination, budget tracking, resourcing schedule development, driving deliverables, and liaising/directing sub consultants.
  • Provide logistical support for field staff during field work deployment.
  • Work with the senior technical team to ensure project objectives align with client’s needs.
  • Work with field teams to verify documentation retention protocol is being followed.
  • Attend, and take meeting minutes for various project meetings with, but not limited to, client, regulator(s), Indigenous Partners, and other project stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum of five years of related experience in an environmental discipline in a consulting environment.
  • Experience overseeing environmental field programs.
  • Strong communication and organization skills are essential.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of various Acts and Regulations specific to the environment.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with competing schedules.
  • A Degree (Bachelor or Master) in Environmental Studies, Hydrology, Biology, or related field. Other educational experience will be considered with commensurate experience.
