Project Description

Palmer was retained by Serenity Valley to support a Site Plan Approval for the development of a Mausoleum, completing several technical studies as required by the City of Vaughan.

The proposed mausoleum, located along Pine Valley Drive, borders lands within the Greenbelt Plan Area. As part of the Environmental Impact Study (EIS), our ecologists worked with Toronto Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) to determine the limits of the woodland and the top of valleyland, key natural heritage features that informed the Site Plan design and development limitations.

Our geotechnical team determined the long-term stable top of slope alongside the valley and the suitability of on-site soils for building construction. We also completed various reports and studies including a Water Balance Assessment, an Arborist Report, an Edge Management and Restoration Plan, and a Greenbelt Conformity Plan.
