Project Description

Palmer was retained by Post Scriptum Holdings to oversee the removal of soil impacted by petroleum hydrocarbons (PHCs) to aid in the process of development approval in Oakville, Ontario.

Previous environmental investigations of the site identified two locations of soil impacted by PHCs linked to the presence of a former underground diesel storage tank and fuel pump activities. We oversaw an environmental contractor during the removal of the impacted soil as part of the soil remediation and were required to file a Record of Site Condition (RSC) with the Ministry of Environment, Conservation and Parks. This process aided the permitting process with the local municipality.
